Year 2 Educational Visit to Saltaire

On Thursday 15th June, Year 2 had an exciting educational visit to Saltaire village.

We had been learning about the local history of Saltaire and the importance of Sir Titus Salt and his mill.

The children had a wonderful time walking around the magnificent mill and seeing the streets of Saltaire. The children were thrilled to see the workers houses and spot the human and physical features of Saltaire.

The sun was out and we had a lovely picnic in Robert's Park followed by sketching the mill and other important buildings in Saltaire.

What a busy and interesting day!
