A Year in Gardening Club - 2022 -2023

Gardening Club have had a fantastic year, providing the children with wonderful opportunities to appreciate the land, work as a team, produce good quality produce and improve our school environment for all to enjoy!

In cooking, the children have been on hand to use some of our produce, giving the children an opportunity to cook the fruit and vegetables and taste some lovely crumbles and pies!

We have ended the year with our Potato Competition!

I know some of you have been waiting for the overall results.

This year we have an overall winner this year, huge well done to ACORN class (Nursery) for a whopping 675g worth of potatoes! I will bring round your winners certificate this week.
 
I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the competitors, you've done a fantastic job. The total amount of potatoes was 5.72Kg, of which we are planning to sell to parents throughout this week in aims to buy gardening club a new wheelbarrow.
