Bollywood Brass Band visit to school!

On Wednesday, we were very fortunate to be chosen by Leeds Artforms to be one of only two schools in the city to host a visit by the Bollywood Brass Band, who had come up from London.

Our Brass players in the school orchestra took part in a unique workshop with the band, before all the KS2 children were treated to a wonderful performance of music from different parts of India and Pakistan, including Jai Ho and other favourites.

Needless to say the children loved it – and the band were very complimentary about how brilliantly they joined in, saying they could tell how great our music provision in school must be.
